This is where you will find all kinds of offers to help you with your divorce. Most offer to sell you their services for anywhere from $99.00 to $139.00. The question is, what are you really buying? Let me explain.

• 1.     They are offering to sell you a package of Divorce forms that have been filled out by a computer which has asked you a series of questions. These documents are only to be used by individuals who are in complete agreement of getting a divorce, and are willing to sign all these documents in front of a Notary Public. They send these documents to you or you can download them and print them yourself. You do get a page of instructions on how to file them in the courthouse. They also guarantee that the court will accept your documents. {The court will accept a letter from you saying you want a divorce if you file it with the court fees. It does not mean that you are going to get a divorce signed by a Judge) Let me explain what is wrong with this approach to getting a divorce by purchasing a set of documents.

• 2. You are on your own. In legal language, you are pro se. You are your own attorney and the court expects you to know what to do next. Do not call the computer company, they only promised you papers that the court would accept. They did, job done. No refund. Remember the adage, what can go wrong usually does. It's true. That why I started with the story about the plumber. The toilet did not flush because the pipe going to the sewer under your front lawn was blocked. He knew what to do next. He did not offer to send you a flapper valve and a page of instructions. Same with the other services I mentioned. They are professionals, and licensed to do the work they provide. They also report to a higher authority.

• We will provide you with 30 minutes of Mediator time at No Charge to be sure that the use of our service is appropriate for your situation.

• We will provide you with a quotation providing the exact cost of our service and any other cost that you will be responsible for in your Divorce

• We will provide you with a complete set of documents using Florida Supreme Court Approved forms, based on the information which you provide to us.

• We will provide these documents to you for your review and approval before we send them to you via Priority Mail for Notary Service.

• We will file these signed and notarized documents in court electronically based on your instruction to do so.

• The Court will handle your Uncontested Divorce without a Court Hearings. If the above service is provided to you by Divorcenters, Inc.

• If one of the parties cannot sign their documents because of issues that have not been addressed, Divorcenters will refer you to a Family Law Mediator listed on our Web Site to assist the parties in resolving their issues. Fee's for Mediators are not included in the Document Costs.

• We will keep your information during the Divorce process of any items which would tend to delay the time frame your divorce should take.

• We will keep a copy of the divorce documents submitted to the court including the Final Judgment on a secure server in case you need them at any time.

 

     The cost of our complete service divorce is between $1,000 and 1,300. including court and filing fees. Any experienced Family Law Attorney will charge you a minimum of $5,000.00 just to start your divorce. That is your beginning cost. Your spouse will have to have her own attorney with similar costs. The average divorce using attorneys' range between $10,000 and $50,000. If you compare our complete service, and the alternative, you will find that we are well worth the price we charge.
